Like with railfanning, there’s a romance to thinking about the stories of the people and things aboard these trains and planes. Humans coming and going from places near and far. Goods in containers from China or natural resources heading from Canada to ports to go overseas.

And of course, there’s the wonderment of considering how these monsters take flight or how two people can be in charge of a train that is miles long.
